My sweetcorn is up, turnips and potatoes above the ground. Temperatures have been in the mid 30's twice during the week. Hope I didn't plant to early.

The deer probably will get all of anything we plant. They ate almost all of it last year.

South Jersey and all of my crocus are almost done. The daffodils are all open and I did the neighbors 1/8 acre garden with the Gravely Roto-Plow. He--l of a machine. The farmers did the fields about one week ago with a four bottom roll over plows. Was over 50 degrees here today. I spread my lawn today. Put down 19-02-06 with the little pull behind spreader. Rose bushes have little 1/2in leaf pettals. Irris plants are about 8 inches high. Red wing black birds were here two weeks ago. The little spring peepers started about four days ago but stopped. That is all of the spring stuff I can see. jeffcat

Snow hasn't melted off it yet and the ground is still froze. We put tomatoes out on the May24th weekend.

What ever it is it is pure white and came up in two short days. Had 20 inches of snow from Sunday afternoon through Tuesday. Got down to the teens last night. Won't be gardening in east central Nebraska for a while.

Planted tomatoes and peppers yesterday, so they aren't up yet. Should be soon though as I put the planter on the window sill above the radiator. Only frozen vegetables outside. lol
