Does anybody know of any magazines that have articles on tractor mechanics or farm machinery? I currently get two great magazines from England "Antique Tractors & Machinery" and "Classic Tractors" which have short monthly articles on rebuilds. They are fun magazines but I'd like more technical articles on different tractors. I also have some of the standard books on rebuilding that have come out in the last few years. I guess I just crave a monthly hit during these long Canadian winters when the woodstove can't get the workshop hot enough to make it bearable against the rattling cold wind.

I find that the magazines I have subscribed to now and in the past, Antique Power and Gas Engine Magazine, have few technical articles. Every once in a while there will be one or maybe two issues but that's all. I think the problem is no one writes and submits anything to be printed. I'm sure it would please the editors if they received more well written "how-to" material. Unfortunately, most of us are not writers for publication.

Hey Chester,

I am out in the Eastern Townships, a little burg called Birchton. In fact we've had a remarkably warm winter but it seems to keep hanging on. Sugaring hasn't really even got off the ground yet. Where are you located now?
