I know this has nothing to do with tractors, maybe it does, because with a good nights sleep you will enjoy doing your tractor things. We are thinking about getting a Comfortaire Air Mattress. I need your honest opinions about this one or any other mattress. Keep on working on them tractors. Thanks

I've been perfectly happy with my waterbed for 19 years or so. I did replace the mattress last year for about $40. I sleep miserably on anything else.

The only other thing that I sleep pretty good on is a military-style cot. But then that's camping, and I camp hard.

We bought a Select Comfort probably 3 years ago. King size. I think it's great. Sure eased up on the aches and pains, in my opinion. King size wasn't a problem...it came in boxes. The seperator between the air coils on this one is pretty substantial. It doesn't sink in when we happen to lay on it.

Hi Ken, we have one of those mattresses and it's ok, but it's not the best thing since sliced bread as the advertising would have you believe. The biggest problem is that the two sets of air coils have,of course,a seperation between them and this creates a little valley to sink into. It's worse if the air levels are significantly differant. If you can stay on your side of the bed,no problem, but if you go for it I'd suggest getting the widest mattress that will fit in your room, and get the thickest padding they sell, good luck

Ask Dave #1 over at the 9-2-8N tractor site. On the other hand, maybe not. He sleeps on his tractor after a case of Coors and then complains that his back hurts 'cause he turned 42.

Go figure!
