When I plant wheat and rye for food plots and grazing, I put about 250# of fertilizer on it at planting in the fall. In early Febuary, I put about another 200 - 300#s on it. Sometimes I will put about another 100 - 200#s of nitrogen on it about now. What do some you do?

Sounds to me like you are going after a tall straw with that much fertilizer. You have way more than enough.

I use 10-10-10 fertilizer. The nitrogen is 34-0-0. I jsut wanted to now what other people use and when. These plots are continuously grazed after Jan. 1st.

50-100 lbs of actual N, maybe 20 lbs of P, you are least likely to need K, depending on the soil.

Does any of that include P & K; is that actual active N you are putting on, or total lbs of fert; what type of fert - urea, etc.?

600# of actual N would be over 3x too much, but if you are applying 28% or something plus some of that is P & K, might be about right.
