15 inch Disc sander adhesive?? what to use

does anyone have any recomendations of the type of adhesives to use on cloth backed 15 disc onto a steel disc?? will the spray on type used for auto-body repair work on this larger disc?? the smaller ones for auto body work uses a paperback , and these larger ones are cloth back Dave Thanks

3M makes a product called 1357. Its brushable, brush on the metal, when it gets tacky, apply the sanding disc. When you change disc again, pull off and scrape the old residue with a razor blade.

Like Vern said, use the 3M or similar disc adhesive. You can get it at any place that sells auto body refinish supplies. You don"t have to do a lot of cleanup when changing discs and the disc comes off easily.

3M Disc Adhesive. It comes in both spray and brush on and doesn't build up after repeated disc replacements.

We buy the discs that have the adhesive on them already.
Check McMaster-Carr.

disc brake adhesive.. om.. spray on trim adhesive (3m)..uh.. spray on contact cement... Probably have to use naptha or even laqure thinner to get that stuff off..
