Relative Food Value

Been shopping hay and have found some that lists Relative Food Value. Can someone tell me what the numbers mean? One of the ads states RFV is 170 to 210.

RFV or Relative Feed Value is outdated and can be missleading. RFQ or Relative Forage Quality is what you wanna check. It more acurately predicts how an animal will perform when fed that particular forage.

Relative Forage
Quality Suggested Cattle Type
100-200 Heifer, 18-24 mo and Dry cow
115-130 Heifer, 12-18 mo and Beef cow and calf
125-150 Dairy, last 200 days and Heifer, 3-12 mo and Stocker cattle
140-160 Dairy, 1st three months of lactation and Dairy calf
