I'm working on a old Mcculloch eager beaver chain saw.Does anyone know what the air gap is between the flywheel and iginition module.?

PS.... If you want to get into this a little more. A flat side milk jug will come out about 20th and a laundry jug flat side will be around 30th. Cut them and check with caliper. Great throw away gauges and if you mess them up , new ones are FREE. Make sure you try several types of gugs and brands till you can make up a full set. jeffcat

Another advantage of the plastic is it is non metallic, and will not affect magnets.

10 to 13 thousand. If you go to a super market and by some baked goods or such; those plastic lid trays are perfect. The center pannel is about 4x6 inches. Cut it out and you now have the perfect feeler gauge to set your air gap.
