Icannot get my GX75 started. I have replaced the battery, but still nothing. Its not even pretending to crank at all. Any ideas?

PS..... I just remembered, last year my ignition swith poooped out and it did what you are having. No crank and with a new switch she runs great. Electrical problems can be a BIG load of trouble on anything that gets rained on. Jeffcat

You need a bigger butt. Check the seat switch. Moisture will kill them and it will not crank. Lift the seat and see if you have a plug with two wires. Pull the plug and jump the two in the harness. Some tractors can have five switches in line! Transmission-PTO-seat-reverse leaver-sheilds in place- ETC. Look around Jeffcat

I'd try checking the safty switches,one may be hanging up ,unplugged,broken ? Or maybe it is working and something is in gear ?

There is a switch mounted to the shaft that goes to the brake pedal. It makes sure that the brake is depressed before the engine engages. I had that die on one of my garden tractors and it wouldn't turn over. Replaced switch and everything is hunk-dory.
