Any one buy one of their air powered grease guns? For $13 it doesn't seem like a bad risk, but I want to know if they are any good, espescially with cold grease?? Or should I just go ahead and buy a real one from the tractor dealer for $50?

I have one that works well as long as you put a little air tool oil in the air fitting every 6 or so tubes of grease, keeps the air motor sealed and lubed. None of the air grease guns with the pump mounted at 45 degrees from the grease tube work well when it is cold, not my HF or big bucks Lincoln will work. That long grease passage from tube to pump will not flow cold #2 grease. This winter I bought two 12V electric grease guns from HF for $50 each. With the pump located tight down on the grease tube, with only a 1/4 inch long feed tube,They seem to prime right up and pump the entire tube of #2 grease at 30 F,so I have high hopes of them working well. They come with two batteries,a hard case and a 1 hr charger. I opened the gear case to check the quality of the drive gears and check if they had any lube on them. The gears are nicely machined steel,as are the rest of the pump parts. Everything worked well using up the tube of grease as I walked around the cold machine shed looking for things to lube. It comes with a sturdy tip,and the 30 inch hose is normal 1/8 pipe thread instead of metric stuff like Lincoln.
Time will tell,In spring I have 30 ft of JD 750 drills that take 4 tubes to fully grease. That will give them the acid test 8)

I have a Coleman that will only work on the easiest of fittings. If it requires a great deal of pressure to force grease into the fitting, FORGET IT - go get a hand operated gun.... Don"t know if others have this same weakness.

I have one, first one died after using it for one lube job on a towtruck, which has quite a few zerks. The one I have now seems to work ok. Next time I think I'll try a cordless, saw a 12-volt model on sale today for twenty dollars.
