My dad has a 15 ton alluminum Simplex railroad jack. I was wondering where I could find another one and what the cost might be. thanks,

I bought one from a friend and it only cost $10.oo. Her father had worked for the railroad a long time ago. Just for giggles I went to see what a new one would cost. Try just a little over $600.oo a pop. Companys that handle close outs or aution houses. They do riggers or house movers and they might have a lead. There is a guy in South Jersey who buys out a lot of close outs. He had a bunch of them last year. He still has some. They are the cast type though. Jeffcat

Best bet is Ebay... A friend sold a bunch of them, on Ebay, last year... Lots cheaper than new.. Although they are heavy, shipping on the aluminum ones would not be too bad...
