I am cleaning up a timber we bought that is full of metal and junk scattered all over. What can I use as a big magnet I can put on the loader? Any one rigged up something to get this done?

Cristco has the right idea, take a garden hose and slip it over the largest size chain that will fit. Rap that around the loader bucket many times and get four large semi truck batterys and hook all of them in parallel with each other. Then, connect one end of the chain to the pos. battery cable and the other end of the chain to the neg. side of the batteries. Start out small in testing this machine, like picking up a lawn mover or something like that and then move on to the bigger stuff. If your dog has a collar on with a metal buckle, you can have a good time with it, but not while wimmen and kids are present.
Disclaimer: anyone really doing this is a blooming idiot!!!!!

I think that you wouldn"t be too successful at this method cause it wouldn"t pull up big chunks out of the ground like you"re hoping it will. I would say to get yourself a decent quality metal detector and a bunch of kids with shovels.....you find....they dig. Tell them that you heard that Billy the kids gun was down there. Mark the spots with a handful of lime and get out of their way! Fred OH

YOU COULD GET 100000 00000 00000 00000 0 FRIGE MAGNETS OR USE A CHAIN OR MAKE A ELECTRO MAGNET BY RAPPING A LOT OF INSULATED WIRE AROUND A BIG PEICE OF STEEL AND PUTTING POWER TO IT LIKE IN SCINECE
