Repairing Fence Charger

Stupid me fried my fence charger, I was moving the battery that is hooked to it and the ground wire (bare) touched the post for the hot fence wire and it blew something inside. There is a relatively simple circuit board in there and a couple of traces were blown off so I put jumpers on and I also replaced a capacitor that was in line but it still isn't working. There is a big component that looks like a capacitor but it isn't labeled so I don't really know.

My question is does anyone have a schematic for fence chargers. Mine specificially is a CT Farm and Country Model SS-7000CT. I looked up Farm and Country and they are out of business so that didn't help.

When I plug it in the low battery LED on the circuit board lights up so I blew something else but I don't know what, it is probably that capacitor but I don't know what to replace it with.

If anyone could help or has any ideas I sure would appreciate it.

If you would email me a couple of CLEAR pictures of the circuit board and the components in question, I will try and help you. I am an Electrical Engineer by trade and a tinkerer by nature.

I cannot imagine that there is anything in there that cannot be replaced.

Tractor Supply bought out CT. try tractor supply, they still handle everything that CT did. good luck
