Never know what you are going to find walking around in a scrap yard. I dug this out of the dirt Wed. while just wandering around. Brought it home, took it all apart and washed it hot soapy water. Wa la!!! it works. Going to finish cleaning and paint with Hammerite.

It's the good one works like a lathe.

That is an "oldie, but goodie"! Does a nice clean job; nothing like those "clamp inside the cylinder" cheapies that always seem to move on you. I"m curious as to how much you had to give the guy at the scrapyard for that dirty ol" thing.
I have a "Blue-Point" ridge reamer that also bolts to the block but I"d trade it in a heartbeat for yours. LOL

Brian, it was a freebee!! Friend owns yard. I stopped by to visit with him and found it as we were loading junk electric motors on his truck.

I have it all cleaned up and painted it with Hammerite paint, almost as good as new. Now it is ready to go back to work after laying around for long time.

I also found 2 pto pumps that were ruined from being filled with water and dirt, such ashame.

Hey Jerry, you made me go out to the cold shop to get reamer as so I could take those measurements AND it is 17 degrees out,me with no shirt just under shirt.

Looks like 2 3/4 inch to 5 1/2 inch bore. And the 5.5 is max!! Pretty good spread.

Too durn cold out there!! Hibernation time!! :>) :>)

Gee whizz, I thought everyone would recognize the picture of this tool !!!!! But that is what I get for assuming, huh.

I hadn't planned on paying 20 questions guys.:>) :>)

Harry, you win the magic ring!!!!

It is a precision ridge reamer. That large shaft has approximately 40 threads per inch. the very top small nut is what adjust the fingers out to the cylinder wall.

Sorry I don't think this is a Ridge Reamer but rather instead I believe it is a Cylinder Hone.

Nope, it is a ridge reamer, unless manufacture is wrong.

Casted on side with "Leslie Cylinder Ridge Reamer" Leslie Corp USA. On bottom, Model # SR-7, Made in Clarinda, Iowa

Keith, I thought that ridge reamer looked familiar, except you have the mfgrs. name just a little wrong. It is The LISLE Corporation, and you are correct about Clarinda, Iowa. The Lisle corp. has been in business since. well, since before I can remember, and are still in business. I would imagine that if you ever need any parts for that reamer they would be available. Clarinda is about 12 miles from where I live.
