I need a tune up kit (V8), and water temp guage for my loadstar 1600. Any advice on where I could locate these parts.

Bsmith:
NAPA can get you points plugs condenser etc. Are you sure you need a temperature guage? Not much goes wrong with them. Might be the sender or wiring. NAPA can get the sender but not the guage.

Langoley, I might be interested in your 392. Where in West Virginia and how much? I'm in SouthEast PA.

If I remember, it uses a Delco distributor, and used Champion plugs. Napa, or a good auto supply ought to have everything you need, but I would stay away from using Champion spark plugs.
A new Autometer guage would solve the other problem. Autometer guages are still made in the US, vs. Chinese made Stewart and Warner. Another example of a once good American product using its reputation to fool the consumer.

If that's an International, they are still in business. Check the web for www.yellopages.com.
