Does anyone have experience with this Brand Generator. See them advertised on the net. Looks like a Honda knock off. Couldn't find any specific info or been able to find any real user opinion . Thanks in advance, Jim

It seems that just about all the cheap Chinese stuff is being automatically labelled as crap. In the 1960s, same was being done with the Jap stuff. Kind of ironic that now, the Japanese stuff seems to be the high-standard. I've bought a lot of the cheap Chinese "crap", and some of it is just that. I've also bought some great stuff, including tools and small generators. Last year I bought two portable Honda clone generators, one 2500 watt and the other 1000 watt, both with four-stroke cycle, overhead-cam engines, and both have been very reliable - and I've run the h*ll out of both of them. I also bought a 4000 watt Chinese inverter and it's been bullet-proof - and I've overloaded it many times. I originally bought the generators to leave at a camp in the woods - figuring if they got stolen - no big loss. Paid $325 total for the pair of them new and it was money well spent. Now, how come no one is griping about stuff from Turkey? I bought some plumbing fixtures and fenders for my truck - both cock-eyed crap and both "made in Turkey." By the way, I picked up some over-the-counter parts last week for my tractor at the local John Deere dealer. Every one of them was marked "made in China."

Sometimes these Duro generators "accidentally get a Honda decal placed on them and sold as the real thing. Most of the parts on these clones will directly swap with the real Honda, Yamaha etc. Good enough for an application where it will just get stolen, run out of oil or driven over by heavy equipment on the job site.
