Too damned good!

We've had two jobs where some dirt-eatin' wankers cut the copper domestic water pipe right out of a building we were doing. Took it ALL.

A pox on scrap dealers who buy new-looking copper pipe and fittings. Ba$tards.

Joe,

I had the same type problem close to 14 years ago. We had a large quantity of 3/4" copper tubing for water services stolen from a job. The foreman hadn't really done anything to secure it and that was before the days of our storage trailers.

That foreman was shall we say from the hills and he wasn't about to get burnt again. From that day forward, he would dig a hole on the job and bury his copper supply and brass fittings in a shipping crate. We had a subcontractor finish one of his jobs and he was told all the material was on the job. I happened to stop by the job when he was scratching his head trying to find all the copper and brass. Tom's system wasn't too hard to figure out if you knew what to look for. I showed him where to dig and he eventually hit the jackpot!

Gonna have to guard our old tractor radiators.

Scum bags are stealing alum. siding right off of houses.
