Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get parts for a century welder. My main need is a gas solenoid that is 24volt DC . I'm also going to be needing liners for the wire feed torch. My welder is a Century 225 wire feed. Thanks .

Scott

WCTA division of Lincoln Electric. Tel number is 866.236.0044, option 3. The long model number beginning with 117- whatever is the best one to give them.

I recently added the "gas" feature to an existing Century wire feed welder and used a 12VDC 1/4" NPT gas solenoid that I had from a garage sale. Just measured the resistance of the coil and bought a wire wound resistor of the same value, then added it to the circuit in series. Works like a charm.

Try Sears. I own a smaller wire feed welder which is a Century with Sears' name on it. They have a good listing of parts & manuals on the web.
