I HAVE A 1998 F 150 2 WHEEL DRIVE JUST REPLACED FRONT PADS ROTORS AND CALIPIERS I DONT HAVE ANY BRAKES IN FRONT ARE THEY SELF BLEEDING OR DO YOU HAVE TO DO IT.AND HOW

if you look you will see the bleeder, looks like a plug that has a hole in the center, you may be able to get it loose, if you can put a wrench on it and have someone sit and push the brake pedal down, and hold it down then open the bleeder and let the air out, then close it before they let up on the pedal, then have them push down and open it up again with them holding the pedal down until you close the bleeder, it may take a few tries, but then you can pick up the vaccuum pump and hook it up to the bleeder and suck the stuff out alone..

Jim, You don't need anything but an assistant to do the pump,hold,and bleed method when replacing calipers.~brad

Not sure I did not try them. I had a buddy that had one. I arrived with 12 beer's and in no time he was done.

You will need to have them bled with an ABS scan tool. The ABS pump must be activated to bleed these systems. (been there & had to do that).
