Miller Maxtron Welder Center!!

Took my Miller Maxtron 450 Welder to a Miller Repair Center in Benton Ky. So I could be sure it was ok before I traded it off for a old tractor. I don't put junk on people, and expect the same out of who I deal with! At the Welder shop they ran the welder thru 3 different load test! Checked the circut board. Ran a out put test. Put a used set of stick leads on it,Rewired it to 1 phase and 230 volts, put a standard 230 volt welder plug on it. And ran a test weld pattern with it! Every thing came out good!! Gave me paper work stating she a GOOD WELDER and Ready to use! All for $150.00. They do a lot of welder repair work. And have used welders, and wire system there. Also they are very plesant to deal with.

Shortbolt, I still think you would come out WAY ahead to advertise and sell your welder to someone who really wants a good, heavy duty welder. Take the money and shop for the tractor you want. I think trying to trade, you will not get near the worth out of the Miller.

So tell us what did you get for the trade? A nice Deere model-R? C'mon C'mon tell us we're dyin' to know!

In any event I find the Miller guys to be a decent bunch all around and they still stand behind their products even ones that are over 30 years old!
