Hi, Kenny

Can't say you're wrong for feeling attacked for less than no good reason. On the other hand, what's the point? I doubt that it's possible to make a simple statement without someone finding something about it to be offended by. And if there's a hint of religion or politics involved, then it's dead certain that it will incite a lot of resentment.

I think we could all be a lot more civil to each other, and a lot slower to find reasons to take offense. But, hey, that kind of negativity is deeply offensive to some people.

This is a hell of a good forum, though, and I mean that in a deeply non-religious sense.

All the best, Stan

Well coloken, thanks for trying. I certainly took no offense at what you posted as it was meant as a compliment to the forum.

Well that just about does it. I use a commonly used expression to thank every one here and give thanks for the board and I get repermanded because I insulted some one's religion. No, I don't need the bible explained to me. This is a farmer/tractor board and not sunday school. Yes, I am burned good and Apologies will not be accepted.

Coloken, I didn't think your comment deserved a sermon either. "Ask and you shall recieve". Well, this for sure is one of the places where you definately CAN ASK, and without a doubt, you will recieve, and I'm not so sure but what it still fits within the biblical context.

It's a shame that people seemingly know parts of Scripture but use it out of context . That particular phrase in particular is actually meaning to ask the Lord in Faith without ceasing & it shall be given unto you . But we in society take it to mean it'll be given without any true "Biblical" Faith . Happy New Year & God Bless . Oh , by the way I am thankful for this board also . Thanks Kim . Ken

It's a shame that people seemingly think this & other boards here are for religion.
Maybe its because its Xmas time or the Holiday season.
