Horse c@ck air hose

Got my air hard piped into my shop, new regulator,seperator and filter. Finally a nice set-up. Question I have is where can I find 5 feet of braided air hose to get to the compressor. Will I have to get it made or does anyone sell it. Happy New Year to everyone, Richard

Try TP Tools. They make the Scat-Blast outfits and handle many plumbing parts for the units and the compressors they sell. They also carry kits for various airline plumbing set ups.
I have one of their units and like it. I have no interest in the store for other reasons.

I used hydraulic hose and swivel off the shelf at TSC.

If you are looking for the ones that are made to take high heat right off the compressor then a semi truck parts shop should be able to make you up one.

have it made out of hyd hose,thats what connects mine to my pipe lines and it also connects the two eighty gallon tanks I have together.

How about a 3/8 wire braided pressure washer hose some places cut to lenght and put end on them.They are for 3000psi

This week I hust hooked up a new 60 gallon compressor in the shop- JD made me a 44 inch, 3/4 diameter hydraulic hose-spendy, but I needed the exact length to get slope for moisture drainage. OK, if I had checked ahead of time on the cost, I would have moved the freaking! compressor for a 4 foot!

Shop I worked at had a large electric shop compressor (Quincy) and we used Hydraulic hose. Mostly because we made em there.

I've had the same concern while preparing for plumbing my air system. All of the steel braided hoses with crimped on threaded ends I could find in catalogs such as Grainger were too short (and expensive). I have discovered one air hose I think I would trust. Made by Goodyear its called Gorilla Premium Hose and has a bright yellow carbryn synthetic rubber jacket. It's rated working pressure is 500 psi. Only problem is, you can only get it in bulk, 100 ft roll of 3/4 is $368! or a pre-coupled sections with pipe thread ends are 25 ft of 3/4 for $94. (Grainger prices)

Sounds like a trip to the hose place might be in order, but expect to pay a $100 or so for a 3/4" hose of this length with crimped on male or female pipe thread ends.
