Per foot that is. I have 15' chopped into 4 sections attached to the front of the 2504. Seems like overkill.

anybody else feel free to answer as well.

3" steel bar weighs 24.03 lbs. per foot or in your case 360.45 lbs. Something I always keep in mind when fabricating is that steel weighs .283 lbs. per cubic inch. So if a chart wasn't available in this case, you could simply use the formula pi X (radius in inches squared) X length in inches X .283 = weight in lbs. or;
3.14159 X (1.5 x 1.5) X 180 X .283 = 360.07 lbs.
It is very important to know the weight of anything that your building to stay within the limits of lifting equipment, transportation, etc.
Just remember .283 X the volume ( Length X width X height) in inches will give you the weight.

The piece wieghs approx. 360 lbs for 15ft.
