wayne air compressor info...

i just purchased a vertical 80 gal. wayne air compressor, dated 1994 on tank, it has a leroi v compressor, with 5hp motor, all original,works great but no manual or info, it is 2 stage, would like to know how many cfm it puts out,and a manual for part numbers, seems the company is no longer in business?? any help out there?

It should do around 18 cfm. If it's a LeRoi-Dresser pressure lubricated, cast-iron v-twin pump like the one in the picture (pump model 400, 440, or 500 thereabouts), congratulations, you have just about the highest quality compressor you can buy, every bit as good as a Quincy QR25 series. If it needs a bit of work, do it now, because it would be a shame to let it degrade.

I think CompAir put the boots to Leroi a couple of years ago when they rationalized a lot of their line.

You should be able to order Wayne, Westinghouse and LeRoi parts through any decent compressor shop (these pumps all began as Westinghouse units). Independent Components Corp in New York makes all kinds of stuff for these compressors.
