Let me say first I have good tools from many different makers, but I have to take the time to brag one up.

I have a 10 year old Milwaukee drywall screw gun, and it was returned to me missing a couple of parts. (I wont loan it out again.) The tag with the model number has been gone for years, and 2 repair guys didnt want to do anything w/out that number. As a last resort, I called Milwaukee Tool directly.

Between Ron in parts, and TC in customer service, it took about 25 minutes worth of digging and questions to figure out what I really needed. I have to applaud a company the allows their employees to spend that much time with a customer, all for about $20, and they responded to my e-mail within 2 ours.

As I told TC, I own several other Milwaukee tools hammer drill, sawzall, grinder along with some from their competitors. This weekend, Im buying a new worm drive saw, and I just made up my mind which brand Ill go with MILWAUKEE!! These are the first repairs Ive ever had to make on any of them (never realized that before) and they made it painless and enjoyable. Thumbs up!!!

I've watched guys abuse Milwaukee tools on construction sites for 33 years. Muddy conditions. Left in five gallon buckets in the back of a pickup thru an overnight rain. Power cords duct taped together. . . They're tough - my favorite brand, and as the other guy said, "Made in the USA!!"

Good choice in a saw. Strong recommendation to go for the magnesium. Only 2 lbs. lighter and close to 40 bucks more but after using both, it's worth the money. And you know you're buying something with a loooong track record. It's a workhorse!

Pretty much all the electric power hand tool in my shop(saws, drills, grinders, etc.) were made by Milwaukee. They have been used many hours, by all kinds of people. Based on my experience they are close to indestructable. On the one occasion we did need a repair the local Milwaukee agent did the work quickly, at a reasonable cost, and even did some extra service at no charge...Al English

Could you tell me when the electric drill was made from your company. It has just the off-on switch.
Forward only. still works very well .

Thanks,

I recently purchased a Milwaukee drill driver. It's a great piece of equipment. I'd recommend the brand to anyone.

Had to replace a switch on a Milwaukee sawzall at work. Only a bit easier to ID the part but my experience matches yours. Seems like these folks know their stuff and will do what is needed to help the customer.

I too had a good experience with Milwaukee when the local dealer told me that the parts for the drill Iwas trying to fix were no longer available. E-mailed Milwaukee and they got back to me with the new parts mumbers within a day or two.
