I have a WP7-115 Quick grinder and am having a difficult time finding metabo grinding wheels. What other 4 1/2 wheel can I use or should I stay with metabo?

Thanks

There many players out there offering 4.5" diameter abrasive wheels. Abrasive manufacturers, of course, offer their own brands for sale. Common and very good names are Sait, Norton, and Flexovit. Most 4.5" wheels are made with a 7/8" dia. arbor hole. Also, a lot of mfrs. offer their wheels with an integral female threaded arbor which is typically 5/8-11 UNC thread. Zirconium compound wheels offer the best longevity.

Check your area for a Fastenal outlet. I have been buting all of my metabo tools etc. from them.they are by far the best price going on these high quality items. Spend the extra couple bucks a wheel for the Zirconium wheels. They will outlast 5 of those cheap ones out there.

Hi David, There are different styles, grades, and grits of gringing wheels and stones, and most arbors can be used with at least a few different types. All the common stones and wheels are made by numrous manufacturers. A tool outlet or industrial supply will likely have what you need, or be able to get it quickly. Check what arbor you have, and see what's available that best suits your needs. Good Luck...Al English

I haven't used many different types, but DeWalt and Lennox are well-thought-of brands. They're probably like lawnmowers, tho, 2 or 3 companys make them, and 2 or 3 hundred put their labels on 'em.
