I agree with SlowPoke, my 7.5 horse, two stage 80 gal compressor is also a 24 CFM unit.

Motor is probably around 30 to 32 amps. You will need a circuit with at least 8 gauge wire and 6 is alot better, depending of course, on the length of the run. Use a 50 amp breaker as at 32 amps you are right at the 80% max limit of a 40 amp circuit breaker, and you need a little cushion for starting loads.

I ran a 60 amp subfeed from my shops main 200 amp panel using conduit and 6 gauge wire, including a netural, to a four circuit subpanel next to the compressor. Put a 50 amp in the subpanel and carried two hot leads and a ground thru flex conduit to the mag starter. This was about a 70 ft run to the other side of the shop and I can use the subpanel for something else too.

I hope it has the magnetic starter installed on it, you will have to have one.

This is an ideal size compressor to run a blast cabinet, DA sander, and other high draw items.

Never heard of Clair air compressor, Google search turns up nothing. Suspect it is a private label of another brand. If it is clean and works OK and the price is right you would do well to get it. New 7.5 horse/24 cfm units run anywhere from $1600 up.

I have an 80 gal tank with 7.5 hp, and the max is 24cfm. I don't think can you get 32 cfm with 7.5hp.
