I have a Poulan 2510 chainsaw that runs fine, until it stops. Then it will not start until I leave it alone for a few min. Then it starts on the first pull.I know it sounds like a am 'flooding' problem,or vapor lock. Any other suggestions . thanks

Sounds like a fuel starvation problem. Had the same problem with my Deere 50V. Turned out to be a bad fuel filter on the end of the fuel pickup "dangle" inside the fuel tank. Try fishing the fuel pickup out of the tank and clean or replace it.

Could also be a plugged gas cap vent or an erratic magneto. Run the saw with the cap loosened a bit and see if the problem goes away. If it does not, soon as the motor quits pull the spark plug and check for spark. If no spark, you've got a magneto problem.

I have a 20" farmhand about a year old. I have the same problem and after 20 minutes or so its ready to go again. I checked the fuel line and there is no problem there.
