I know this isn"t tractor related, but then maybe it is, I"m a tractor person and the car belongs to my sister. "related" She had the oil changed on her 94 grand am yesterday, at a fast lube place. since then her brake, check engine,and coolant lights are on. Everything was OK untill then. Can any of you mechanics give me a quick solution? Thanks in advance.

There are no reset buttons for the lights that are on.Which engine does she have.A 2.3 or a 3.1...It could just be a coincidence that the brake fluid is low,the coolant level is low,and the gas cap was loose all at the same time.Sometimes the low coolant level sensor sticks and needs a tap w/screwdriver handle to release(where 2 wires go at filler tank)~brad

I would look at the manual. Perhaps there is a reset for them. Otherwise you might disconnect the battery for 5 minutes. They might reset.

there is a reset for them on the drivers side on the side of the dash in the fuse panle, check your book on how to do the reset if you don,t have one i,ll check to see if i still have mine and let you know. i susbect the the lube people disconnected the battery for some reason maybe shop policy for safty or something who knows.
