ive heard regular hose will work, do you attach it with hose clamps?
this doesn't seem to professional.

When I took Ag hydraulics in college they told us to use black iron pipe, never galvanized for hydraulic systems because the galvanize can flake off on the inside and give you all kinds of problems. I wonder if it could be the same for air systems? When I worked on trains, everything was plumbed black iron. The place I work now plumbs their air with sweated copper, and the school I worked at did too. The copper should save you some time and money, makes a nice neat job also. Good luck, Joe Fabregas [email protected]

You cant go wrong using galvanized pipe other than the time to set it up. Find out what size outlet you have on the compressor tank, and then go to the Farm & Fleet store and buy a 2-3 foot section of hydraulic hose of the same size and plumb it between the compressor and the lines. You should be able to get any size you need, it will be a lot cheaper than having one
made up, and it allready has pipe threads on it, PLUS it will be able to
withstand anything you compressor will pump through it
DONT GO WITH SMALL HOSE AND CLAMPS
Good luck

Run your galvinized and don't look back, it will work fine. Run it high and put water drains on your down legs. That hydraulic hose idea sounds good. You should have a bullet-proof system! Good luck.
