Today, while at a neat old style hardware store I picked up some stainless screws and nuts in sizes: 0,1, & 2, to put into my home parts inventory. Every once and awhile one is needed for some small thing but too small a thing to make a trip to the store for.

I don't know, maybe someday you'll be setting there enjoying a cool one and suddenly decide to build a space vehicle of some type. If you do that those screws will come in handy.

the might need one days accumulate fast. i had jsut gotten rid of a bunch of fore said items, which made more room in the shop so grandpa decide it was time to fill it up again. we now have a 4 cyl. continental engine on a stand sitting in the way

Just get ya some of those nice bins the hardware has nuts and bolts in and fill it with all the stuff you get "just in case" and then when you need it and know exactly where it's at..... you STILL won't have the right length or quantity, personal expirience....I work in a hardware store and have those nice bins full all the "just in case" stuff.
