I checked with Napa and bought new pins and bushings for $12.00. I figure I can rig something up with a cherry picker to hold them up while I'm working on it.

$300.00 at the ford garage. cripes! I can buy a new cherrypicker and still be ahead!

I use the link below to check for parts and prices. Makes a great starting point to see what is availible and for how much. Less travel and sticker shock that way.

I saw hinge pin/bushing kits at O'Reilly Auto Parts store. Several kits on hand to fit many vehicles.

Check your local NAPA,they should have pin and bushing kits on hand.1 kit per door...Can't remember but seems to me they were under $10ea.

Scott,
I'm building a '53 street truck... I found oversized hinge pins... drilled the hinges and drove them in... there are several aftermarket outfits that will sell them I"m sure...

check out www.ford-trucks.com and look in the late model forums ...ask your same question and I'll bet you get covered up with suggestions... we got a great bunch of guys there..

The doors on my 91 F250 were sagging, with an air gap on the upper front of the doors, I loosend the hinges, readjust, and replaced the striker pins as the plastic sleeves were missing. This completely took care of gaps. Hope this may help.
