PAR air compressor wiring???

Got a PAR air compressor today ;made by Lynch Manf.Corp, Defiance Ohio. Any one ever heard of them . Twin V , 2 stage compressor with large heavy tank 20" x 42". !.5 single phase 1750 Leland=Faraday motor. I can't tell whether its wired for 110 or 220. Coming out of the motor are red, white and green wires twisted together with wire nut. Yellow and black twisted together appear to be one lead. Blue wire appears to be another lead. Is this 110 or 220. If 220 where do a connect the third wire?? Need help please, Thanks Robert.

I 've got the compressor running. I first hooked what I thought was the leads to 110 , it run but slowly and weak. So I then hooked those 2 leads to 220 volts. Ran fine , full speed and power. Now anyone got any ideas of what to make a new diapharam for the pressure switch out of. I would buy a new one but this one has a Unloader valve fastened to the side of it. The contact points lever pushes the unloader valve. Some one else had put a big tire tube patch in there for a diaphram. It works but leaks.

At one time you could buy repair kits. If you cann't find one, buy a new switch of the same make and just use the diaphfram for a replacement.

I think that the largest true h.p. motor that can hooked to 120V is 3h.p.

Isin't there a wiring diagram on the motor that shows how to connect it up, t-1,t-2, and so on

any numbers on the wires that are hanging out of the motor???, if it looks like it was hooked up to a couple wires and run before run it on 120 volts for a bit and see if it sounds right, and if it doesn't have enough torque to start it up tie it to 240, my fingers are too tired to type the procedure to find out what wire is what. It's not fun but can be donw, 3 phase motors are even more fun to do..
