Winterizing a pressure washer

Cold weather coming and I really don't have room in the basement for the pressure washer I got this year. I blew the water out of the hose and pump with compressed air. Then I put RV anti-freeze in the hose and pump and cycled the engine a few times. Should this be enough to keep it through winter? We get to -40 or more here on the Canadian border. Thanks

Yup. Only got to -33 here. ;) Went snowmobiling the next day when it was -18 for a high, just to say I did.

Should be ok as long as the pump can tolerate the RV anti-freeze, which I can"t see being a problem. I go the extra insurance route and give it a shot of Generac "pump saver". Lubes up the pump innards and displaces any water that is in there. Should be available at Sears or on line at Jack"s Small Engines.

Michigan winters do a number on water filled devices too but we NEVER get to -40F. Best of luck this winter!

That is all I do to my pump in my travel trailer. If you are sure that you have all the water out, it should be ok. Don't forget the fuel stabilizer if it is a gas job.
