I bought a toolbox the other day for 50 bucks,a little 4 door chest to fit between a small top chest and a roll cabinet. Later when I went to pick it up with my dad I noticed it was full of tools, very unexpected. Anyways after going through all the craftsman and blackhawk sockets and wrenches, no ratchets. I notice three bigger wrenches 17mm.20mm.21mm marked williams. I was pretty happy, because I no williams is a snap on company. Until I flipped the wrenches over and they said Vulcan. I was just wondering why vulcan was stampped in huge letters on the other side, are they part of williams or is it just special to the metric because none of my other williams wrenches has vulcan. thanks billy

We used to use a lot of Williams brand wrenches in power plants - beat "em with sledge hammers, etc - some of the toughest wrenches I"ve ever used!

I think before Snap On bought them out,Williams used to make tools for other companies,Vulcan Tools (similar to Snap On but now out of business)was one of them.

I'll get in line for all the Williams wrenches I can get that way! I'll tell you another sleeper wrench is the old Bernz-o-matic Jap wrenches of 25 years ago....none better ever made.
