125/165. Since everything runs at 90-120 it works fine.

Mine is in that same range but I have mine tied into two eighty gal tanks now. That makews a tremedous difference in run time. Mine runs alll day long for air wenches and tire machines usually. the reason it is now on two tanks is my old unit pump went up in smoke after 11 seasons, I kept the tank thou and plumbed it into the new unit. The other item that has really saved the life is the drain traps at the bottms of the tanks are no longer ther at all I have removed them and put a 50ft discharge air hose on instead and use it as another out let. Thuis always keeps the moisture out of unit alot better and don't have to worry about not draining it enough.

145-175 untouched from the factory Campbell-Hausfeld/Husky.

I think this is the "standard" or close to it is anyway.

Copied from the Emglo site, two stage features.... "Auto Start/Stop control with pressure unloader set at 145-175 PSI (two stage)"

Hi Jay,

Mine's at 145 to 175. Many pressure switches (mine included) for two stage compressors have a 30 psi fixed differential between cut-in and cut-out. It's not adjustable. If I could readily adjust it, I'd have it set at 100 cut-in and 175 cut-out to take maximum advantage of storage capacity and cut down on compressor starts. That also provides a little longer time for cool down between runs. There really are only two reasons why you would want a narrow differential: 1) if you really need the higher pressure most of the time (unusual) or 2) if you are under capacity on the compressor and wish to extend a specific operation for as long a time as possible, starting with a full tank at maximum pressure.
