logging grapple

Any of you guys out there know of some plans or where i could get some info on building or locating a grapple trailer for behind my tractor? Something just for myself don't need anything like the size the big outfits use, just something to save the back. Hard time keeping up to the outdoor woodstove last year, I want something to make the job easier.

Hi Dan i made one earlier this year.. from 2 scariffier tynes bolted together with a spacer..
i chain on top and hooked to 3pl jib,,
lifts and holds big logs..email me i send pics,,
ok cheap to make got tynes from wreckers yard..

here"s one from the hobart site... built for a ATV but you can get some ideas and ramp it up... nice design and if an ATV will do it, your tractor will...

you might contact Bitternut for some more detail...he"s a nice guy

one more thing... I've also seen (somewhere) using a chain fall (rachet kind) to raise the log up into position...
