Choosing Oil?

Im gonna change the oil in the engine of my 2670 Case,
I wanted to see what would be a good oil to use
for this tractor?
Ive seen the new Shell Rotella,I know about
Mobil too,and other,s,so Im stymied as to what i should use?
I use Baldwin Filter,s,like them alot.
get back to me on this whosever out there ok?

Shell has a better warranty than most oils ,but it is used by most railroads bacause it was the only oil that did not break down from extended idling during there tests .

Take a look at Case/IH oil. Looking at the spec sheet, it's actually a grade higher than Rotella (least that is what I was told... service manager looked at me funny when I asked about it.. took him about 10 minutes to come up with the specs).

Buying in bulk from the local dealer, price is comparable or cheaper than the "name" brand quality oils.

i dont think you could go wrong with rotella or mobil. most all my farmer buddies use rotella. lucas
