I am very new to the Farmall M tractor and need to know more info on how to fix them on my own.
I do not have any training on engines or anything but I cannot afford to pay for someone to fix it. I am mechanically inclined and would be able to read a manual or someone"s instructions. Any suggestions on where to find a manual or something to help me be self-sufficient? It is an older tractor. I will find out more specifics for anyone who might be willing to help me. Thank you.

To get to the Farmall discussion, on the bottom of this page where it says "hop to", click the little blue arrow and a list of different forums within this site will pop up. Click "Farmall and IH" then click "go".

You are at the right place. Might start out with a parts manual and a service manual for the Farmall M. If you have a dealer in your area you might want to go ahead an buy these books. If not let us know and we can help with a source.

Guess you will need to find out what is wrong with the M and then start the repairs. You can ask any question on the forum and you are going to get some good help. Nice people here.
