I'm starting to set up a shop in what used to be a dairy barn. All the walls and ceilings are covered with whitewash that constantly falls to the floor. Over the sumer I powerwashed part of the barn using a 13000 psi powerwasher. Now that it is winter I can't use the same method but I was wondering if just compressed air would do the trick with a long blower nozzle. I plan on getting a compressor for the shop anyway to hook up some airtools and shoot some paint. How big (psi/cfm) of compressor do you think I need to blow off this whitewash?

If you want to blow the whitewash off you will have to rent a big compressor such as used to run a couple of air hammers to get most of it off. That is what we use when we have to white wash our dairy barns which is every year. Than you will still have some left.
