With the price of propane going thru the roof like all other fuels, I'm considering purchasing a corn/pellet stove. I would like to know if anyone has one of these and discuss the upkeep/brands and anything else I should consider when looking. Thanks in advance

Put one in at the folks place last fall, and my brother liked it so much he put one in after that, I just picked one up Saturday and have it sitting in the basement and have to get it hooked up before it getts cold, just get one that will burn corn or wood pellets, they are nice stoves and give off a lot of heat for their size, my brother made a trip and picked up 4 pallets of wood pellts last week, if I would have knows I was going to get a stove I would have had him throw 2 more pallets on the trailer. I ended up with the one with all the gold trim and etched glass, not my choice, the last stove they had in stock and no more for 3 months, so I just bit the bullet and got it, looks too nice to be in the basement but if I ever move it will look nice upstairs. >Link

You may want to look at the "Wood Master" brand, their number is 1-800-932-3629 Good luck buddy, for me, I use wood burner Boilers, I think wood is more available and cheaper, dependidng where you live.
