JD sells a "plastic steel repair kit P/N AT76136" that is used for repairing spindles, hub to axel,etc. The epoxy material takes up the gap and makes parts fit tighter... as long as they are not worn too much. Any one use it and how was your results. Thanks

I have used this it is called Devcon D it works real well

I'm not sure if this is the same, but when I worked for Deere, a buddy of mine used what Deere called Liquid Steel on the lower shaft of the feederhouse on a combine. He center punched the shaft and applied the glue, lightly tapped the bearing in place and then was called to do something else. Two hours later he noticed he didn't have it in the right spot, ended up cutting the bearing off, couldn't move it. If its a grayish color I'd say its the same stuff. chris

Is that what holds the green machines together?Aint no glue on a Farmall.I know not helpful.I will shutup.

Sounds like same stuff.. JD says that to remove heat to 250 degrees F. with a puller parts can be separated...FYI: it"ll work on a Farmall too, Might help to keep your wheels turning.
