Can someone tell me what a 6 ft. rino boxblade will wiegh. It is a heavy duty with the big system that raises and lowers the ripper teeth and the back blade is hinged. I know it at least a 1000 lb. Thanks

Gill/Woods also makes a box blade with a mechanically raised scarifier (via lever, reaching from drivers seat) and the 72 inch model weighs 966 lbs.

I have a Gill/Woods R10 roll-over box scrape. It is 65 inches, they no longer make this one but have gone down to 60 inches, it is 728 lbs, mine is about 750 lbs if I recall. It is heavier than an identical one a neighbor had, that is about 30 years old. The roll-over feature is a little bit of a hassle, but very useful.

From my inpromptu research, I don't think that a 72 inch box will run in excess of a 1000 lbs if that, no matter the age or type. Most seem to run in the 850 lb range. LandPride for example runs from a low of 504 lbs to a high of 994 lbs for 72 inch models.

If you mean Rhino products, their current box blades are the BX series, the 72 inch being the BX72 and it weighs 505 lbs.

The HB series has hydraulic raise and lower on the scarifiers, and the HB72 is 958 lbs.

Ask the manufacturer. But I think the name's spelled differently.
