Paslode Nail Gun Problems

A friend loaned me his Paslode framing nailer. Drive three or four nails, and the battery pack slips out an eigth of an inch. It must be pushed back in to continue. If nailing in an overhead position, the battery may drop out completely. The small plastic clip on the battery that holds it in the gun seems in good shape. Is this a common problen with the Paslode? The design seems inadequate to secure the battery. Given the premium price of these guns, I would expect more. Thanks for you input.

Mine doesn't do that, and two of my brothers also have this same gun. There's don't do it either, so i'm guessing yous has a problem that's isn't common.
