Chainsaw Value-Stihl 066 Magnum

I bought a Stihl066 Magnum a few years ago to log an old stand of red oak and white oak. Now, it"s too much saw for me.

Wondering what these saws are worth. This one"s in excellent condition. Only used for felling and bucking the biggest oaks. I have four bars for it (20", 24", 28" and 36") as well as several new chains.

Local Stihl guy will buy back used saws, but says not much demand for these big saws. Thought I"d try to list it in the local paper.

Any rough ideas on value would help. Thanks.

With those extra bars and the saws intact no cracks, runs well I'd say $700+.

I sold a nice MS 660 on ebay last year for $900.00. Same saw as a 066 just a little newer, one bar one chain. Yours should bring 6-7.

I had one of those monsters..only mine was an O56 as i recall....weighed about 22 pounds with a 28" bar. I used it maybe a month and parked it...couldn't find any help to carry it...hehe! Got $500 for it. I was quite a lad when in my 30's but that thing whipped me.
