I've mentioned before that we make big air hammers for ground drilling. Got a new one finished today and tested for a bit. This bad boy was shaking the ground under me at 65 feet hard enough to blur my vision some. At 30 feet my cloths were shaking on my body. This is while it's attempting to drive the 6'X6'X 2" thick plate into the ground under 1&1/2" of rubber to protect it. 1800 lb. piston cycling approx. a foot at around 5 times a second. Over 5000 cfm at 160 lbs of air, achieved by grouping 5 auxilary compressors. The 32" dia. hammer weighs 16,000 lbs with the bit and stands 12 feet tall without the adapter on top. Was definitely a max lift for the old Hyster.

You need to post us a picture of that bad mamma jamma! I assume thats rotary. Whats size bit would it run and how deep can it go? When it hits rock what happens? 5000 cfm means you dont take it for sunday drives going nowhere.
