Larry, is Brandon from La junta? He has been in our prayers since it happened. My son Zach has spent quite a bit of time with him.

Yes Brandon is from La Junta and Zack has been with us through this ordeal. He has been a good friend of Brandon's for some time now and has been to out house often and we consider him to be an adopted grandson. Thanks for the prayers.

There was no alcahol involved in Brandon's accident. He and his girlfriend had attended a dance and were on their way home and he fell asleep at the wheel. This was strickly an accident.

Thanks for the prayers.

Just curious on how he rolled it, I know suv`s are not the best vehicle"s on taking turns, all and all, I pray he gets well.

Jay: I live about 2 miles from an interstate and listen to most of the police and traffic from depts. What is strange to me is it seems as tho the rollovers, even single car rollovers are really on the increase. Noticed also there has been an increase in the numbers of car fires in accidents.I sometimes wonder about the engineering of some vehicles. Some of the newer P/U's and SUV's sure seem to set awful high any more.

I think people dont realize how dangerous a pickup or SUV could be at high speeds, these are not low to the ground sports cars, yet people drive them like they are, I drive a sports car and I also drive a full size van for work, it always amazes me when I see people on the highway driving 90mph around truns in a suv or pick up when Im feeling how tight the trun is in my car, cant always blame the vehicles, Im going to have to say most of the time its the driver

YOU SURE GOT THAT RIGHT,,,AND, WONDER IF THERE WERE BOOZE OR DRUGS INVOLVED, MOST TIMES THAT'S THE CASE WITH OUR YOUNG GENERATION, YOU CAN PREACH ALL YOU WANT, BUT IF IT DON'T SINK IN, THOSE KIDS WILL JUST SEE IF THEY CAN BEAT THE ODDS. AND THE PARTENTS PAY THE PRICE... I FEEL SORRY FOR THEM, BUT MOST TIMES WE LEARN THE HARD WAY, I REMEBER WHEN I WAS A KID, JUST LIKED TO TRY OUT THE VEHICLE AND SEE WHAT IT WOULD DO, AND MOST TIMES I LUCKED OUT, BUT OTHERS I FIND DIDN'T MAKE IT AND I WENT TO THEIR FUNERAL, THAT MADE ME SLOW UP !

yeah here in Niagara over the past couple of years there has been many accidents with younger kids, they drive these cheaply built cars such as a Neon or Cavalire, again they think these are high end sports cars, again they try and take turns on city streets doing 60mph at 2-3 am in the morning thinking they are racing and roll the cars and get killed, happens over and over, its a factor of two things, 1. alcohol and 2. stupidness. most of the time its stupidness tring to show off to friends and what not, we all been there....

I still am at that stupidness level. well on some levels i have a little caviler and do not regularly do the posted speed limit. i would say i average 20 over the posted limit at times granted most ppl are doing 10 over anyways but still i know i shouldnt but im either in a hurry or am how the one fellow put it testin out the car to see what it has,Im sad to say my moms car has more shes got a dodge intrepid. I will say two things for me though i do the speed limit or less in the rain or when roads are wet i dont care how much of a hurry im in and also if anyone else gets in the car with me i slow down. Im only ready to put my own life in jepordy

My thoughts and prayers too.

Science and tecnology have come a long ways in the last couple of decades. That procedure is a very very positive and helpful procedure that wasn't around long ago and has helped a great many in ways unimaginable. I'm sure he's in good hands, so keep the faith within yourself, and while in his presence. That's very important. In my prayers.

Mark
