I'm a newcomer to this forum and enjoy it tons. Hardly ever fail to log on daily to see what's happening and toss in my two bits' worth. I've got a digital photo of a P&W R-4360 "corn cob" engine taken at the US Air Force Museum in Dayton. Thought I'd share it with you all as there has been some recent posts about these beasts. How do you attach an image to your message? A pre-emptive thanks to all! Joe

Hi Joe,

1) Log into your account at>Link
Upload>Link your pictures in .jpg format as that is the fastest.

2) Make up and name a folder to keep the pictures in.

3) Once your pictures are uploaded, then move them from the "Incoming folder" to the new folder you just named. Click on the check box of the picture and click move to the new folder you just named.

4) At the bottom of the page of the new folder there will be a URL address of the folder. highlite and copy.

5) Paste the link here on "Optional Link Url" Fill in a title name at the bottom of this page

6) Paste URL in "Optional Image Url" and " Optional Link URL" if you want the picture to appear when someone reads your post.

7) Do NOT move the pictures from the folder you created or you will break the link to the picture and the picture will not appear.

Joe, I don't think you can send an image directly, it has to have an address, such as if you posted it at Photopoint, then the address of the photo would be entered as the "image URL". That will load with the post. A site with the photo displayed can be put as a clickable link under "optional link URL", just remember it has to have a "title" entered or it is not accessible. Hope this helps, if not go to "forum suggestions" and ask Kim.
