I've carried this in my pocket over 50 years; probably only used it a dozen time or so - but when you need it, it is handy. If memory serves me correctly, I paid 25 cents for it about 1950.

We make these all the time in the shop, you can take any Torx bit an heliarc it to a blackmetal washer, we've made thousands of these with different Torx bits an gave them away for presents, now it may not look as fancy as yours, but when your in a tight spot they are worth thier weight in gold..... .....Tramp

There's one on eBay right now. $12, no bids, one day left, and no I'm not the seller.

How is it at $12 dollars yet no-one has bid? Is that the minimum set by the seller? If so, why is it called a BID?

Have one just like it, given to me by my father-in-law. I assume he recieved it while working at a local auto parts store. Yours is the only other one I've seen. You're exactly right about them being handy, mines on my key chain.

Don't make the same mistake a guy I worked with did. Had his on key chain for 18 years, went to airport and security took his saying it was a weapon. He was walking by when I had picture up and got all pissed off about it again.

I've got a similar one with the "IH" logo. Dad got several in the 60's when they were given away as promo items.
