Hey fellas thanks for the insite about my delema the other night today was the first day of class and i went and it wasnt bad so well just see how it goes from here. ok now my question is does anyone know what could have happened to the gearbox on my uncles jd 420, we were using it today after i got off school to try to bale some hay and first gear totally went out. and third has been out. any suggestions on how to go about repairs? is there a manual about this that can be gotten?

did you mean 4020 or 420 cause thats happpens on our 4020 to the 8th 6th and 7th where you got to get it jsut in the right place to where it will go into gear.. but you might have figured that out by now.. but just a thought

Its a jd 420 lets repeat jd 420 not 4020
