can someone tell me where i can get info. on freeing a seized pump?

Hi Don, The hermetic sealed units usually break a part jaming the pump. There not rebuildable because of no parts available. About the only thing you can do is tear it apart and see why then go from there. Most are piston units. Be sure and relieve all the pressure before trying to open it up as pressure can be any where from 70psi to 200psi @ 70F from refrigerant.

Hi Don, Not that I know of but I haven't really looked as I'm retired and there's too much to try and keep current on. That was one big draw back to the refer field, continuous education.
